Sledding

We have had SO MUCH SNOW lately!! Over the last week we have had three huge snow storms. The first one dropped 15 inches at our house, the second dropped more snow and super high winds froze it all over and over this weekend we got another huge storm where it snowed for over 24 hours straight. And of course the roads in our neighborhood are always very slow to be plowed.

That being said, our cul-de-sac has turned into the boys favorite place to play. Dave has been pulling them around the neighborhood on sleds behind the 4-wheeler. They love it (all 4 of them)!! :)

What a fun dad!!

Happy Birthday Dave!

Dave turned 35 today and we had a really nice day just relaxing for the most part. I got Dave a Wii game that he and the boys had been wanting and they spent a good part of the day playing that.

We did venture out of the house this evening to go to dinner to celebrate. We went to The Old Spaghetti Factory and had a nice birthday dinner.

Happy Birthday Honey!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all had a wonderful day. We had a nice, full day ourselves. First we went over to Dave's mom's for a Thanksgiving feast.

I guess you could say that my boys are well balanced eaters if you put them all together.

The boys had lots of fun playing with their cousins ...

With Aunts ...

And Uncles.

Then after the feast we went down to Lehi to Grandma Norberg's for pie. All the Adamson clan were there as well as Kevin and Ryan & Alisa. It was so nice to see everyone.

My sweet Aunt Nina made all us girls matching aprons.

The boys played really hard with their cousins, hence the flushed cheeks!!

And finally home sweet home ... tired boys!

Snow!

Over the past week we have had two large snow storms which have landed Dave outside with the snow blower and given the boys a chance to do lots of playing in the snow. They have had a lot of fun.

Garage Makeover

Over the last 2 days I have done a bit of a garage makeover. We moved Dave's work bench to the 3rd garage (where it belongs) and then yesterday, my dad and I took the shelves off the wall and moved them from the back of the garage to the front (THANKS DAD). This made room for the one thing that I have always wanted in our house but didn't have ... a mudroom! With three boys we have lots of shoes, boots, backpacks, snowpants, etc. All of which, end up all over the floor in my house. Well a couple weeks ago I was at my friend Amie's house and saw her garage mudroom which is awesome!! So I went home and planned for a similar area in my garage. Hers was done much nicer with built in cubbies, bead board, trim and crown molding but the basic function is the same. I used peg board instead of bead board so that I could move the hooks up as the boys get taller or as our needs change. I used left over paint from my front door. I used peel-and-stick tiles which are very inexpensive and easy to lay. The whole project cost just over $100 and now I have my mud room! Yeah!!

Brandon's Baptism

Brandon was baptized today! It was a wonderful event and one that he has been preparing for and looking forward to for a long time. We are very proud of Brandon for his decision to be baptized and for all his preparations. We love you Brando.

What a nice older brother.

Looks like two (little) missionary companions. :)

We had a brunch after with lots of family!

Student of the Month

Brandon was nominated by his teacher this month as the IB Learner for the month. He was presented with an Eagle pin at an awards ceremony which Dave & I were able to attend this morning.

They also gave out Soaring Eagle awards to the kids that have a B+ or higher grade point average so both Eric & Brandon were presented with this award.

Great job guys!
