What is it with Guys and their Toys?!

Anyone that knows Dave will not be the least bit surprised by this post. In fact you were probably wondering what took him so long. Yes, the motorcycle is gone (sorry Darren) and now Dave has a new 4-wheeler to add to his ever growing list of toys. Dave showed up at home after work today with this. Was I surprised, NOPE ... I just shake my head at him now and sigh.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today I turned 33.

As seems to happen often lately, our plans to go out on a date didn't work out. Ryan & Alisa had planned to come over and watch our kids for us so we could go out but Kyle is still fighting off a cold and we didn't want him to get his cousin Collin sick so instead we all went out to dinner together as a family.

Eric had veges for dinner (what a surprise) and spent the whole meal saying "I'm in heaven, this is heaven!" How many 3 year olds do you know who think that veges are heaven? He did have more then his fair share of the birthday brownie ice cream sundae so he balanced that out.

Kyle downed as much bread, fries and mashed potatoes that we could shovel in him. He is such a good eater. The waitress wanted to take him home with her!

Brandon was happy with his Sprite and cheeseburger ... an all American boy!

Then at home we all got in our cozys and Dave surprised me with a birthday cake! We spent the rest of the evening in the Barnhisel theatre watching Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa!

Bowling "AllStars"

We took the boys bowling today at AllStar Bowling Lanes by our house. Shout out for them ... really nice clean place! The boys had so much fun!

Brandon has been a couple times in the past. He is a pro. He doesn't even need to use the ramp. He just throws the ball on his own (literally)!

But for Eric this was a first. He was so excited. Each time he would bowl he would back up further and further from the little ramp kids use to roll the ball off of so that he could get more of a running start. It was hilarious!

Grandma Chris came and bowled with us. It was really fun. We won't mention how poorly we adults bowled. The kids did really well though.

Then we went to The Pie for lunch ... yummy pizza! Aunt Amy met up there. Eric was really happy about that and insisted on sitting next to her and vowed that next time we went out with her he would sit by her again!


Kyle loved their cheesy bread. Could he be any cuter?
