Newport Beach

We drove to Vegas on Monday and then today we drove the rest of the way to California. We checked into our hotel near Disneyland and then went down to Newport Beach. It was so much fun. It was in the mid 60s so not super warm but that didn't stop the boys from having fun on the beach.

The boys loved chasing the birds up and down the pier.

Then we went down to the beach where Kyle continued to chase the birds. He seriously ran and ran and ran down the beach and had gone a good mile (no joke) by the time we caught up with him and turned him around. And he would've kept on going without a care in the world too. That kid is going to be a cross-country runner for sure!!

And OF COURSE, Dave had to end the day at his very most favorite resturaunt, The Crab Cooker!!

Snowman

On Monday we are heading to sunny California, YEAH!!

As for today we had to deal with the snow, so the boys and dad built the worlds best snowman!

I turned 35 today. Not sure how I feel about that. Dave spoiled me which he is of course in trouble for because I hate it when he spends money on me. :) And while I am at it, my friend Lynnae is in trouble as well because she brought me over cupcakes, my very favorite (chocolate with chocolate frosting and M&Ms) because I told her I had requested no treats for my birthday. She seemed to think that you can't not have a cake on your birthday. Needless to say, they were delicious. :)

Happy Valentine's Day

Dave & I went out on Saturday night to celebrate Valentine's Day and avoid the Monday night crowds. So tonight, Dave made dinner at home and we decorated sugar cookies with the kids.

Shane was in town this week on business. Ryan & I took him down to Lehi so we could visit Grandma Norberg and Aunt Phyllis. It was such a nice visit. Hopefully soon we can get all the O'Berry's together at the same time. :)
