Happy Birthday Kyle!

My baby is ONE! I have to admit, I am a little sad about that. Babies don't stay babies for very long and it makes me sad.

We had a fun little party for him with pizza which he inhaled and of course, chocolate cake which he LOVED!

I also wanted to add a picture of Brandon and Eric at their 1st birthday as well, just to reminisce and compare.

"I bought it for the kids!"

"But honey, I bought it for the kids. Look at how happy they are!"

At least this time he "asked" me how I felt about it instead of just showing up at home with it. :)

Anyone surprised? Or should the real question be, "How many of you are surprised he went this long WITHOUT a Jeep?"

Painting Eggs!

Tonight we decorated Easter Eggs and the boys had so much fun! They used stickers and glow in the dark paint to make their eggs fabulous! :)

Another FIRST for Kyle!

Hunting Eggs!

We had a nice Easter brunch today at Randy & Melissa's beautiful new home. The boys had so much fun hunting for eggs in their basement. The rain was on and off today so the hunt was moved inside.

But the weather was clear enough for the boys to also have lots of time to play outside as well once the rain tapered off. It was really fun!

And it was Kyle's first Easter ... he had a great time!

Boys and the Spaghetti Evolution

All our boys have loved spaghetti. How could they not, Dave makes the best spaghetti in the world. As babies, they all ended up looking like this. Although, I think that Kyle wins the prize for the messiest spaghetti baby. None of the other boys managed to fling spaghetti on the walls in the process. :)

Eric is still quite a disaster!

Finally, eating without wearing your food.

Newly Finished Basement!

Yeah! Last year we finished off the theatre room in our basement and of course we love it! Who wouldn't love 120 inches of pure digital entertainment! :) But it always felt so detatched from the rest of the house since you still had to go through the unfinished part of the basement to get to the theatre room. Our computers have been in the basement since Eric was born so during the cold months I would have to put on a sweater and socks to go downstairs on the computer, where of course I spend a lot of time. And I couldn't take Kyle down with me because the floor was too cold and hard. So 3 weeks ago I called Dave at work and told him I had a wish. "I wish" I said "that I could go downstairs and get on the computer and have walls and heat and could put Kyle down on the floor by me, on carpet to play." That was my wish. And Dave being such a wonderful husband he told me to call up the guys who sheetrocked our theatre room and get a bid. Less then three WEEKS later we have gone from an unfinished basement ...

To this! ... The guest room (aka the boys toy room). Bring on all those cousins, now we can send them all downstairs to play! Yeah!

This hallway leads into the play room. The door on the right will eventually be a bathroom.

The study. Yeah, heat, walls and carpet! I couldn't be happier!

The theatre room is now attached to the house and we are enjoying it even more!

And of course I can't not mention one of my most favorite parts of the basement. A big storage room! Yeah!
