My Grandpa O'Berry turned 90 today! Wow! And doesn't he look great!

We were in Colorado this weekend to celebrate with him. He was born in 1919, lived during the Great Depression, survived Pearl Harbor and loves to drive FAST! :) I love my grandpa!
Grandpa with his three sons, Uncle Dan, my dad and Uncle Michael. It was interesting to see these guys hanging out together and to think about Dave and our three boys when we are older.

Speaking of our three boys. None of them felt the need to take their naps the day of the party so this was them on the way to the party!

Brandon & Eric with cousins Marcus, Miriam and Amelia Sintay.

Grandpa with most of his great-grandkids. The only ones missing were Declan who is too little for all this choas and asleep and the five Walker kids who weren't able to come in town for the event. We sure missed them.
It was a fun weekend in Colorado. We drove home on Sunday and stopped in Rawlins on the way home to visit with Dave's Grandpa Barnhisel. It was so nice to see and visit with him. He is wonderful! We were very happy to get to see him.
We arrived home to find that our ward boundaries have been redrawn and we now have a new bishop, new building and new time. Yikes, looks like it's going to be a busy week for the primary secretary (me) and the rest of our ward as we deal with all the changes.
Glad to be home!
Dear Shanna,
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see your extended family all gathered together for your Grandpa O'Berry's 90th birthday. Once in a decade, I might find one person who shares my birthday, but this year, I've found five already, with your grandpa being no.5. :) I'm 44. Can you believe that???
Your boys are really cute, but it's time for a GIRL! :)
love,
miow lin
Love the picture of the boys asleep in the car.
